Well, just cleaning up New Year’s Day dinner…small crowd…15…simple roast beef meal, a bit of champagne, (I can’t have more than 1/2 a glass without feeling tipsy!!), coffee cake, chocolate chip cookies, fruit, coffee, tea, talk talk talk…good talking during clean-up too.
And that’s what we love to do best…Family is wonderful…eat, talk, joke, laugh, friends, hello good-bye, clean clean clean, go outside, walk, snowmobile…love the snow…it came down so softly this morning…soft and gentle. A beautiful way to begin the new year…
New Year…an arbitrary new beginning…a collective fresh start…a universal resolve to begin again.
Let’s make the most of this subjective date, to give love…to everyone.
